With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Ann Brawley (Kannapolis, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Schwarze and Ann Schwarze; her great-grandparent Scott; and her grandparents, Jayden, Michelle, Lauren, Tyler, Gavin and Peyton.
She is survived by: her spouse Demps Brawley; her children, Scott Messer, Todd Messer (Michelle Messer) and Jacqueline Owens (Craig Flanagan); her stepchild Dava Snider (Bill Snider); her grandson Sebastian; Todd.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
