He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Grady, Sr. and Juanita Wallace Grady; his siblings, James Albert Flowe, Anthony Flowe, Arthur Flowe, Gregory Grady and Elizabeth Flowe; and his grandson Shovantae Byers.
He is survived by: his children, Maverick Byers of Concord, NC and Demetrius Byers of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Braxton Moore, Shayla Asbury, Nicholas Asbury, Semaj Byers, Dajon Byers, Antavia Byers-Thompson, Nesia Black and Colton Byers; his great grandchildren, Ayeson Monroe and Alhora Reed; and his siblings, Tyrone Grady of Concord, NC, John Grady, Jr. of Concord, NC, Loretta Hammett (Ronnie) of Concord, NC, Debra Grady of Concord, NC and Viverita Sturdivant (Jeffrey) of Concord, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel (923 Indiana St, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
