She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Warren Hancock and Beatrice Ashcraft Hancock; her great grandchildren, Chloe Williams and Adonis Roseman; her aunt Carolyn Marsh; and her friend Sherry Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Marie Boyd of China Grove, NC, Suretha Ann Springs (Kenneth) of China Grove, NC, Vernon Eugene Boyd of Salisbury, NC and Joseph Lee Boyd (Tawana) of Kannapolis, NC; her siblings, Claudra Hancock, Teethina Teeter, Kaotha Hancock (Sonja), Theotis Hancock (Sarah), Rhonda Gates (Jonathan), Warren Hancock (Sherrie), Shirlett Johnson (Don), Barbara Ann Hancock, Lavern Hammonds, JoAnne Ford (Randy), Larry Hancock and Renza Hancock; her uncle Steve Marsh of Marshville, NC; and her close friends, Mary Patterson, Ron, Brenda Clay, Barbara, Ronald Rosello, Ashley Hurd, Levi and Luke Hurd. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two great great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel (923 Indiana St, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
