She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Butler and Lorene Sloan Butler; and her sister Karen Sloan. She is survived by: her son Sherman Butler (Desiree) of Salisbury, NC; her grandchildren, Ivy Butler of Salisbury, NC and Layla Butler of Salisbury, NC; her sisters, Geraldine Black (Darrell) of Kannapolis, NC, Bonnie Hollis of Kannapolis, NC, Barbara Horton of Kannapolis, NC, Pamela Clark of Concord, NC and Shelia Taylor (Abdul) of Charlotte, NC; and her brother-in-law John Sloan of Kannapolis, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
