He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Butler Adams Sr. and Mary; his brother Frank; his wife Nena London Adams; his children, Paula Gilleland (Ray) and Rodney Adams (Michelle); his grandchildren, Gracyn Welch (Clifton) and Charlee Adams; and his great grandchild Wrenlee Welch.
