It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Baucom Smith of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lee Mullis and Beulah Rachel Baucom Mullis; and her sister Frances Mullis Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Smith, Danny Smith, Jeff Smith (Charlene), Scott Smith and Susan Smith Burr (Tommy); and her brothers, James Mullis, Harold Mullis and Carroll Mullis. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
