We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2023, at the age of 82, Richard Russell Sr. of Kannapolis, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Russell and Helen Russell of Kannapolis, NC.; his wife Sally Russell; his daughter Dena Earnhardt; and his son-in-law Charles Atwell.
He is survived by: his children, Richard "Rick" Russell Jr. (Selena), Jackie Horton, Bobby Horton (Becky) and Debbie Atwell; his grandchildren, Erica Earnhardt-Wilson (Jeremy), Corey Atwell (McKenzie), Justin Russell (Jayde) and Kristan Cajiuat (Caleb); and his great grandchildren, Lexia, Sybella, Emerick and Denim.
