He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Monroe Ritchie and Mary Lee Atwell Ritchie. He is survived by: his wife Anita Hooks Ritchie; his sons, Scott Ritchie (Teresa), Brian Ritchie (Renee) and Kevin Ritchie (Tonya); his grandchildren, Jennie, Josh, Ashley and Trent; his great grandchildren, Conner, Travis, Chloe, Easton, Dakota, Colton, Lane and Wrenley; his brothers, Jerry Ritchie, Johnny Ritchie and Kenny Ritchie; and his pet Spot. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023).
