It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Yow Jr. of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Collene Wilkerson and Robert Lee Yow, Sr.; and his great grandchildren, Landon Young and Jax Coley. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Yow of Kannapolis and Tonya Furr of Concord; his stepdaughter Lisa Kelly of Mooresville; and his sister JoAnn Yow of Burleson, TX. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one nephew, two nieces.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
