He was predeceased by: his parents, William Glenn Guthrie and Margaret Guthrie. He is survived by: his son William Glenn Guthrie II; his daughter-in-law Ally; his daughter Katie Guthrie; his sister Cheryl Long; his brother-in-law Jeff; his sibling's children, Bradley Long (Kendall), Mike Lowe (Amy) and Shannon Girtman (Owen); and his grandchildren, Nolan and Camden Guthrie.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
