He is survived by : his mother Laura Anderson; his close friend Rhonda Jones Wells; his grandfather William Alexander; his brother Byron Erik Anderson; his children, Haley Anderson (Daniel Dantzler), Gary Ryan Scott and Justin Lee Scott; his grandchildren, Tre'Ryan Scott, Sage Lucas Scott, Kaili Marie Scott and Abigail Hope Scott; his niece Kirsten Paige Anderson; his nephew Gavin Scott Anderson; his great-nephew Bennett William Koontz; and his pet Buddy Barker.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Wilkinson Funeral Home (100 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
