He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Reid Gibson; and his sisters, Arnette Reid and Gwendolyn Douglas. He is survived by: his siblings, Phyllis Reid of Salisbury, NC, Mildred Gibson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jacqueline Atkinson of Charlotte, NC, James Gibson (Lynn) of Fuquay Varina, NC and Marcus Gibson of Salisbury, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel (923 Indiana St, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023).
