He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hamilton Day and Lila Mae McNeely. He is survived by: his significant other Pauline Smith; his daughters, Diane Overcash of Blowing Rock, NC, Linda Rosenbalm of China Grove, NC and Sandra Felker of Cornelius, NC; his grandchildren, Erica Phillips, Alan Overcash, Matthew Huie, Tyler Huie, Austin Felker, Winston Felker and Larkin Felker; and his great grandchildren, Bentley Phillips, Ashton Phillips, Landon Phillips, Bates Overcash, Amelia Overcash, Emily Huie, Michael Huie, Mason Huie and Rhodes Felker.
