She was predeceased by: her parents, Wheeler James and Gladys James; her son Dustin Lynn Rayfield; and her nephew Timothy James Brignac. She is survived by: her sisters, Brenda Sherrill (Mark) of Concord and Donna James of Kannapolis; her siblings' children, Blair Simpson (Jessie), Jessica Drye, Stefanie Broderick (Matt) and Jake Clark (Ali); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aiden, Tori, Ethan, Bentley, Owen, Olivia, Ryan, Mason and Korbin.
