He was predeceased by: his wife Lori Mitchell. He is survived by: his parents, Don Mitchell (Janice) and Linda Barefield; his brother Clay Mitchell (Rhonda); his children, Alicia Craig (Kevin) and Craig Mitchell (Macy); his grandchildren, Bailey Craig, Ty Craig, Parker Mitchell and Leanna Mitchell; his nephew Devin Mitchell (Candace); and his niece Keely Pinones (Nico). He is also survived by one great-nephew and two great-nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Higher Ground Baptist Church (163 Gene Hege Rd, Lexington, NC 27295).
