He was predeceased by: his father Kevin Lee James; and his pets, Axl and Kato. He is survived by: his mother Zelly Drye James; his devoted love Carol Jo; his sister Marisa "Thyme" James (Mac Hall); his stepchildren, Jerry and Boe; and his pet Timmy. He is also survived by cousins and a large friend.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bethpage Presbyterian Church (6020 Mooresville Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28081). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
