She was predeceased by : her husbands, Marion F. Hobbs Sr. and Oscar Thompson Jr.; her children, Gary Hobbs, Deborah Johnson and Tommy Hobbs; and her siblings, Dottie Thompson, Mary Ruth Dixon, Liz Smith and Ronnie Stroud.

She is survived by : her children, Bill Hobbs, Scott Hobbs (Gail) and Loretta Kay Hobbs; her siblings, Lynwood Stroud (Dee) and Molly Taylor (Brad); and her daughter-in-law Nadine Hobbs. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
