He is survived by: his wife Esther Rogers Pate; his daughter Kaye Griffin (Shane Griffin) of Faison; his grandchildren, Caden, Cheyenne and Joanna Griffin; his brother Paul D. Pate (Kimberly Pate) of Nevada; his nephew Benjamin Pate (Lacey); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Marius, Alethea and Lisa Pate Woodward (Steven) of Florida; his son-in-law Shane; and also, Aaron Pate (Lindsay), Emma, Luke Pate, Kelsey and Alexis. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, and many cousins.
