With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane Raper Roberson (Kenly, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Raper and Joyce Sullivan Raper; her husband Shorty Roberson; and her sisters, Gail Hamm and Tracy Raper.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Roberson Dowd (Mark), Rabbit Blizzard (Rhonda Langdon) and Tony Roberson; her grandchildren, Brooke Davis (Russell), Jacob Dowd, Samantha Strickland (Michael), Reganne Pittman, Damien Roberson and Mattison Stone; her great grandchildren, Emberly Strickland, Ben Davis, Brinkley Davis and Tillie Pigg; her sister Pam Hawley (David); her nephew Ritchie Lucas; her sister Tammy Moore; and her pet Savage.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kenly Funeral & Cremation Service (103 E 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Peacock Cemetery (608 W 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542).
