He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Carroll and Argie Flowers Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Lou Carroll; his daughters, Nickie Mahle (Bill) and Angie Whitley (Chuck); his grandchildren, Jordan Pipkin (Charles) and Will Kearney (AnnMarie); his great grandchildren, Ethan McLamb, Sadie Pipkin and Orion Kearney; his siblings, Woodrow Carroll (Becky), Larry Carroll (Sally), Edith Cooke (Donald) and Audrey Carroll; and his brothers-in-law, Billy Boykin (Eva) and Bobby Boykin (JoAnn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church, 80 Beulahtown Rd, Kenly, NC 27542 in memory of Doug.
