She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Adams and Elsie Ivey Adams; her son Terry Thorne; and her grandson Liam Amerson. She is survived by: her husband Paul A. Boyette; and her children, Hal Thorne (Robin), Keith Thorne (Gilberto), Tammy Tant and Phyllis Summerlin (Paul). She is also survived by several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kenly Funeral & Cremation Service (103 E 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
