He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alice Holland, and Harvey Holland, Sr.; his close friend Rudy Outland; his grandchildren, Jeallen Holland, Nathan Skinner and William Skinner; his wife Cathy Holland; his children, Jason Holland (Jennie) and Gina Skinner (Neil); and his sisters, Judy Batts (Bob), Nancy Johnson (Dallas), Joan Driver (Garland) and Laura Thornton (Joe). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, extended family.
