He is survived by: his daughter Candace Monroe (Nick); his grandchildren, Valerie and Jarrett Monroe; his siblings, Jackie Pope (Libby) and Jean Pope; his niece Catherine Pope; Kaycee Roberson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kenly Funeral & Cremation Service (103 E 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
