He is survived by: his wife Cindee Smith Purcell; his children, Amy Klein (John), Jennifer Looby (Finbar), James Purcell (Melissa) and Christine Santiago (Samuel); his former wife Virginia Maisch; his stepchildren, Melissa Rivas, Aaron Bellotto (Hannah), Stephanie Rodriguez (Angel) and Nicole Cardella (Anthony); and his sister Carolyn McCarthy (Kevin). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
