He is survived by: his wife Velma Creech Poythress; his children, Mark Poythress (Lori) and Valerie Moss (Terry); his grandchildren, Kayla Marlowe (Joe), Heather Speelman (Daniel), Christopher Gardner, Amber Williams (Brandon Webb) and Samantha Harrell (Chris); his great grandchild Leah; and his brother Jimmy Poythress. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
