Lorene Grice Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2025, at the age of 84, Lorene Grice of Kenly, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Armond Gable and Verlie Wiggs Hollowell; her husband Billy Ray Grice; and her siblings, Cornelia Edwards, Ophelia Howell, Willie Hollowell and Wilbert Hollowell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Grice of Kenly and Evelyn "Vi" Phillips (Robert) of Pikeville; her sisters, Judy Taylor of Pikeville and Nellie Burgress of Pikeville; her grandson James "Jim" Hanus (Marie) of Pikeville; her great grandchild Nathan; her brother-in-law Melvin Grice of Kenly; and her caregivers, Gail Williamson, Abby Shores and Rhonda Penzer.
