He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Williard Jackson, Sr. and Lillie Smith Jackson of Kenly; his sister Nedra Jackson Jacobi; his half-brother Ernie Hooks; his niece Jessamine Jacobi; and his grandparents, Lee and Ruby Hooks.
He is survived by: his sons, Will O'Brian Jackson and Brandon Mark Jackson; his grandchildren, Ava Jackson, Addison Jackson and Eli Jackson; his brother Joey Jackson; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Jackson and Steve Jacobi; and his nieces and nephews, Casey Jackson Rollins, Jasmine Jackson, Angel Jackson, Buddy Hooks and Joseph Willard Jackson. He is also survived by several cousins and special friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Jackson Cemetery (2788 Piney Grove Church Rd, Kenly, NC 27542).
Flowers are welcomed and memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
