She was predeceased by: her mother Rose Anne Carter Fields; and her brothers, Matthew Fields and Monroe Fields. She is survived by: her father Jimmie Fields, Sr.; her children, Ashley Wright (Jonathan) and Stephen Hooks (Bobbie); her grandchildren, Xander Hooks and Payten Hooks; and her siblings, Jimmie Fields, Jr. (Sherlyn), Tommy Fields (Tracy), Timmy Fields (Lisa), Paula Denise McCabe (Chris) and Mark Fields. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Kenly Funeral & Cremation Service (103 E 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Free Will Baptist Children's Home, PO Box 249, Middlesex, NC 27557, in memory of Susie.
