With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alan Jeffrey Blackburn of Kernersville, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father A. D. Blackburn; and his brother David Blackburn. He is survived by: his mother Mary Combs Blackburn; his wife Lisa Holland Blackburn; his children, Stephanie Blackburn Lay (Jessie) and Rex Blackburn (Michelle); his grandsons, Jake Lay, Wyatt Lay of Owen Blackburn, R. T and William Blackburn; his brother Joey Blackburn (Connie); Lisa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gospel Light Baptist Church (890 Walkertown Guthrie Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
