She is survived by: her husband Jimmie "Bud" Ray Simmons; her son Mark Simmons (Amy); her grandchildren, Brittany Gerringer (Brian) and Bryce Simmons (Madison); her great grandchildren, Aubrey Gerringer and Hudson Simmons; and her siblings, Buck Golding (Shirley), Curt Golding, Mike Golding (Diane) and Mildred Smith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Kerwin Baptist Church (4520 Old Hollow Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
