We bid farewell to Helen (Robinson) Vanhoy (Kernersville, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Helen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade James and Alva Ellen Robinson (Whitmire); and her siblings, Tom Robinson, Karen Scarboro, Margaret McCall and Christine Parrish.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth D. Vanhoy; her son Kenneth Rigsbee; her granddaughters, Kayla Rigsbee and Jessica O'Brien (Luke); her great grandchildren, Quinn O'Brien, Aiden O'Brien and Reese O'Brien; and her sisters, Ruth Robinson and Ruby Russell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service (213 W Mountain St, Kernersville, NC 27284). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made directly to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
