We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2024, James Clinton Smith of Kernersville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Muriel McLaughlin Smith; his parents, Clinton James Smith and Marjorie Ling Smith; his son Todd Andrew Smith; his sister Ella Smith Sowa; and his aunts, Estelle and Jerry Dorrie (Jim).

He is survived by: his children, Craig McLaughlin "Smitty" Smith (Denise Smith), Lisa Grimaldi (Anthony) and Jennifer Turner (Guy); his grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Zak Yabrosky (Erika Spino), Ryan Smith (Tory), Tory Vibert (Emily Callo) and Craig Vibert (Taryn); his brother-in-law Danny Sowa; and his pet Wanda. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
