Linda Nance Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Nance of Kernersville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleva Goad and Lottie Slusher Goad; and her sisters, Ruby Goad Anderson and Betty Goad Slate. She is survived by: her husband Billy Nance; her son Christopher (Sherry Nance) of Winston Salem, NC; her granddaughter Sarah Nance; her stepgrandchildren, Matthew Semon and Amy Mobley; her nieces, Patsy (Tony Wells), Judy (Mike Cloud) and Deborah Gregg; and her brothers-in-law, Bobby Nance (Pat) and Gene Nance. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mayo Christian Church Cemetery (4949 George Taylor Rd, Spencer, VA 24165).

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to The Crossing Church Food Truck Ministry, 1130 North Main St, Kernersville, NC 27284.
