She was predeceased by: her parents, James Decatur Cox and Annie Ruth Lawson Cox; and her siblings, Debra Cox, Sandra'Sandy'New, William'Billy' and James'Jimmy'Cox.
She is survived by: her husband Mir Ali; her children, Shawn and Rehana Ali; her sister Rita Brinkley (Doug); and her sibling's children, Jimmy Cox (Ava), Alan Brinkley (Nicole) and Crystal Biscoe (Cory).
