She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Underwood and Lessie Woodyard Underwood; her husband William P. Jenkins; her stepmother Ruth Underwood; and her siblings, Clarence, Billy Underwood and Hazel Underwood.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Jenkins (Allison), Glen Jenkins and Penny Boles; and her brothers, James and Doug Underwood. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
