She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Caruthers (Justin); her granddaughter Madeline Teague; and her sisters, Norma Smith and Linda Ricketts. She is also survived by extended family including nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel (213 W Mountain St, Kernersville, NC 27284). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
