He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walter May and Virginia May (Wernlund); and his brother Bruce May. He is survived by: his wife Maria Aurora May (Lola); his children, Kelly May Suttles and Brian May; and his siblings, Duncan May and Pam May. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel (213 W Mountain St, Kernersville, NC 27284). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery (616 S Cherry St, Kernersville, NC 27284).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop 940, Main Street Methodist Church, 306 S Main St, Kernersville NC 27284.
