It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Dean Pope of Kernersville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Pope and Clell Pope; his wife Glenda Batten Pope; his siblings, Clell Junior, Grey, Dwight, Imagene and Karalee; and his in-laws, Grace and Barcey Batten.
He is survived by: his children, Robbin Pope Hodge (David Trent Hodge) of Kernersville and Jeffery Dean Pope of Jamestown; and his siblings, Wanda Kay, Nancy, Larry, Jimmy and Dennis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodland Hall (9652 W Market St, Kernersville, NC 27284).
