He is survived by: his children, Rochelle Mitchell and Ricky Morgan; his grandchildren, Darius Mebane and Laila Morgan-Jones; his sister Sharon Davis (Clint); his nephews, Brian Shanks and Arthur Shanks (Michelle); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, JaJuan, Gregg, Qwanelle, Darius (Brooke), Rufus, Patrick, Carlos, Jamir, Javon, Mike, Shameria, Tamela, Roqueeta (Dominque) and Rose. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hooper Funeral Home (1415 14th St NE, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
