She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wiley Waters and Rachel Wynn Waters; her husband Donald Cyril Varney; and her brother Wiley Dimpsey Waters. She is survived by: her children, April Varney Goodwyn (Charles) of Virginia Beach, VA, Daryl Martin Varney (Sherrie) of Sims, NC and Donna Varney Creef (Jerry) of Colington, NC; her grandchildren, Anne, Adam, Kaylee and Brady; her great grandchildren, Griffin, Lillian, Boone and Hattie Grace; and her siblings, Georgia McCollom (Carl) of Asheboro, NC and Dalton Waters (Eliza) of Williamston, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
