He was predeceased by: his wife Lucia Shelton; his parents, Dallas Shelton and Dorothy Shelton; his daughter Patricia Lynn Shelton; and his brothers, D. C. Shelton and Clyde Allen Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby E. Shelton Jr. (Emily) and Hope Campbell (Marty); and his grandchildren, Griffyn Shelton, Dawson Shelton, Ariel Campbell, Kaylee Campbell (Brandon) and Alison Campbell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
