It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dexter Ray Butner (King, North Carolina), who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Yvonnia Gail Butner; and his siblings, Bynum Henry Butner, Jr., Robert Franklin Butner, Michael Dale Butner, Larry Dene Butner, Randall Wayne Butner Sr. and Coseyetta McClamrock.
He is survived by : his children, Angela Butner Frye, Dallas M. Butner, Dexter R. Butner Jr. and Derrick G. Butner; his grandchildren, Dallas Jr., Amber, Autumn, Cody, Leah, Ashton, Brandon and Lisette; his great grandchildren, J. J., Hailey, Mckinlee, Axyl, Emily, Felicity and Isla; and his siblings, Janie Hamby, Helen Frazier, Adelaide Palmer and Isaac Butner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
