It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ethel Ivey of King, North Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Wood and Vada Wood; and her siblings, Owen Wood, Bernard Wood, Glenn Wood, Louise McLamb and Elaine Ivey.

She is survived by : her children, Willa Dean Oakes (Bryan) of King, NC, Gardner Wayne Ivey (Sheri) of Charlotte and Dewey Lewis Ivey of Dunn, Five. She is also survived by Five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
