We announce the death of Joel Edward Snider (King, North Carolina), who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 86. Joel will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Joel’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman T. Snider and Maude Snider (Southern); and his brothers, Donald Snider and James Snider. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Snider; his children, David W. Snider (Tina), Donita Santos (Mervyn) and Karen Coleman; and his brother John Snider (Hazel). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (725 W Dalton Rd, King, NC 27021). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
