She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Aubrey Nichols and Kathleen Meadows Nichols; her sister Loretta Ann Nichols Melton; her nephew Phillip Dean; her nieces, Valinda Michelle Dean Sizemore and Emily Dean Hill; and her cousins, Richard Evans, Linda Smith and Rachel Hauser.
She is survived by: her nephew Noel Melton (Britta); and her cousins, Patty White (late Steve), Iva, Floyd Thompson, Hugh, Faye Secrest, Jeannette, John Starbuck, Wayne, Barbara Secrest, Roland Hauser (Rachel), JD Evans, Fred, Brenda Evans, Shirley Mitchell, JD Evans Jr., Keith and Janice Evans.
