He is survived by: his children, Revonda Burton (Gene), Shelia Kiger (Michael) and Roger Shore Jr. (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Khriste Petree (Jason), Andrew Kiger (Christina), Nathan Kiger (Megan), Thomas Kiger (Sydney), Janna Joyce (Joshua), Zachary Shore, Molly Nienhuis (Jim) and Isaac Shore (Kenzie); his great grandchildren, Noah, Revonda, SidneyBess, Israel, Levi, Judah, James, Naomi, Zivah, Marek, Nora and Indi; and his siblings, Katherine Whitaker and Pete Shore.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
