He was predeceased by : his parents, Maude Ziglar Jackson and Eugene Franklin Jackson; his siblings, Betty Yow, Bill Jackson, Frank "Jack" Jackson and Bernie Jackson; and his pet Sophie.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Fulk Jackson; his daughters, Tammy Cockerham (Mike), Sandy "Sam" Naylor (Howard) and Mendy Moore (Ken); his grandchildren, Candace Kennedy, Kayla Lynn, Hope Pendry, Karlee Bowman, Kamron Naylor, Gracie Naylor, Jordan Moore and Jaden Moore; his sister Doris Clark; and his close friends, Wayne and Ann Scott. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice or to First Christian Church of King.
