She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ira and Willie Smith Cable; her husband Travis Ray Hawkins; and her siblings, Glenn Cable and Phyllis Gunning.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Smith (Marvin) of Charles City, VA and Chris Hawkins of Clover, SC; her granddaughters, Mackenzie Ciccone (Andrew) of Harleyville, SC and Montanna Henderson (Austin) of Kings Mountain, NC.; her great grandchildren, Waylon, Stetson Henderson and Molly Ciccone; her sister Betty Lewis of Gastonia, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Bill and Shirley Hawkins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the First Baptist Church of Kings Mountain (605 W King St, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
