She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Marshall Bell, Jr.; her parents, Grady Lee Ross and Elsie Putnam Ross; her grandson Derrick Bell; and her sister Beona Carter.

She is survived by: her sons, Steve Bell (Beth) of Kings Mountain and Eddie Bell (Myrtle) of Gaffney; her sisters, Mary Hughes of Kings Mountain, Denise Schenk of Shelby and Joyce Wright (Scott) of Suffolk, VA; and her grandchildren, Chandra Jones, Che'Bell (Justin Miller), Cassie C. Seagroves (Daniel), Jamie Bell (Angel), Misty Owens, Gracelynne Christopher and Braidynn Christopher. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
