She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Steppe and Barbara Eloise Steppe; and her brothers, Skip Steppe and Kenny Steppe. She is survived by: her husband Richard Waycaster; her siblings, Rebecca Lynn Bunch, Debbie Allison (Don), Steve Steppe (Tampa) and Douglas Steppe (Debra); and her stepchildren, Regina Parker (Shane), Amanda Fuller (Billy), Brian Waycaster (Kim) and Eric Waycaster (Carla). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Love Valley Baptist Church (2032 Bethlehem Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
